EAGLE7

Privacy and terms

Last updated: 23 October 2026

These terms apply to the EAGLE7 game and website (the "Service"), operated by EAGLE7 ("we", "us"). By pressing Deploy, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We ask you to confirm your age before you play, and for your date of birth if you create an account. If that date shows you are under 18, no account is made and the date is not kept.

2. Privacy

We aim to collect as little information as we need to run and improve the Service. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

Accounts. You can play without an account, but then nothing is kept for you: your progress, rank and unlocked equipment last only for that visit. If you create an account, we store your callsign, your email address and your date of birth. The callsign is public. The email address and date of birth are not: we use the email address to send the code that proves it is yours and, if you lose your recovery code, to send you a new one; and the date of birth to check that you are old enough. We do not use either for marketing and we do not share them, except with the service that delivers the email, which receives the address and the message. Your recovery code is shown to you once and is then stored only in scrambled form on our server, never on your device; your device is signed in by a cookie holding a key of its own, which no script can read and which "Forget on this device" ends. To have your account and what is stored with it deleted, write to us at the address below.

Callsigns and shared reports. If you choose a callsign, we store it together with your game progress and the mission reports you file. Your callsign and best times appear on the public leaderboard, and a report you share is public: anyone with its link can see the callsign, time and result on it. Shared reports are deleted after 30 days. Choose a callsign that does not identify you. To have a callsign or a report removed, write to us at the address below.

Anonymous counts. To know whether the game is being played, we keep simple daily totals, such as how many visits there were and how many missions were started or won. They use no cookies. To count each device only once a day and to stop the totals being inflated, our server briefly uses a scrambled value made from your IP address and browser type. The address and browser type themselves are not stored, the scrambled value cannot be turned back into them, and it is deleted every day, so it cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next.

Using a phone as the controller. When you pair a phone with a bigger screen, the two exchange connection details through our server so they can talk to each other, and what you press on the phone is sent to the screen, directly where possible and through our server otherwise. We do not keep it. A guest name made up for the session is not stored. If you turn on tilt aiming, your phone's motion readings are used on the phone to work out where you are aiming and are not sent to us.

Live matches. When you play a match against other people, your name in the match (your callsign, or a guest name made up for the session), where you are and what you do in the game pass through our match server and are shown to the others in the room. The match server keeps nothing of this once the room closes, except the result of an online match played with an account, which is added to your standing. A player who does nothing for several minutes is taken out of the match so the room can close.

Voice in matches. Voice is off until you switch it on, and your browser asks before the game can use your microphone. While voice is on, your voice is sent only while you hold the talk key or button, and it goes straight from your device to the other players' devices on your side; it does not pass through our server and nobody records it. To set up these direct connections, your device and theirs exchange connection details through our match server, and they ask a public connection service (Cloudflare's or Google's) to learn their own network address. Because the connection is direct, the other players' devices can see your device's internet (IP) address, as yours can see theirs. If you do not want that, leave voice off. You can mute everyone at any time.

Sign-in cookie. When you create or sign in to a callsign, the game sets one cookie that keeps this device signed in. It holds your callsign and a key for this device only, cannot be read by any script, is sent only to the game's own server and lasts up to a year. Choosing "Forget on this device" removes it.

Mission ticket. When you start a mission the game sets one small cookie, a ticket saying which mission began and when. It is returned with your result so that the server, not your device, measures how long the mission took. It holds nothing about you, cannot be read by any script, lasts at most four hours and is needed for the leaderboard to work.

Saved copy of the game. So that the game opens quickly and can be played without a connection, your browser keeps a copy of the game's own files on your device: the page, its code, and the models and recorded voices of missions you have played. This copy holds nothing about you and is not sent anywhere. When there is a new version the game tells you and you choose when to reload. Clearing this site's data in your browser's settings removes the copy.

Analytics and cookies. We treat measuring how the game is played as part of running it. We use Google Analytics for Firebase to learn, for example, which missions are started and finished, on what kind of device, and how the game performs. Google sets cookies in your browser for this and receives your IP address and device details; it handles them under its own privacy policy. We use this information only to operate and improve the game. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not send your callsign or anything you type to analytics. Because of that, these cookies are among the essential ones: the notice on the main menu lets you choose between essential cookies only and all cookies, and analytics runs under either choice. You can still block or delete cookies in your browser's own settings; the game keeps working without them. The game uses no advertising cookies.

We use this information to provide, secure, maintain and improve the Service, to remember your choices, to respond to you, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers working on our behalf, where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of players, the public or the Service. Information may be processed in countries other than your own. We keep it only for as long as needed for these purposes.

You can clear information saved in your browser at any time through your browser settings. Subject to applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to how it is used, by writing to contact@eagle7.games.

3. Fair play

Use the Service only for personal, lawful enjoyment. Do not cheat, interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Service, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it to harass or harm anyone. We may limit or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

4. Our content

The Service, including its code, artwork, audio, characters and story, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may play it, but you may not copy, modify, distribute or sell any part of it without our written permission.

5. A work of fiction

EAGLE7 is a work of fiction and depicts armed violence. Security agencies in the game carry the names of real ones, but the game is not affiliated with, endorsed by or made with any government body or agency. All characters, units, operations and armed groups are invented, and any resemblance to real people or events is coincidental.

6. No warranty and limits on liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.

7. Changes

We may update these terms and the Service from time to time, including as new features are added. We will post the updated terms here with a new date. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions, requests or complaints: contact@eagle7.games.
